Traditional ryokan with excellent Nara and Tōdai-ji view. Friendly staff accommodated A/C request and provided tea. Large Japanese-style room with heated foot rests and orchard view. Clean with free breakfast and in-room dinner. Small indoor public bath. a fantastic experience.

Amazing view and authentic Japanese style rooms made our Easter stay unforgettable. The traditional breakfast served was a hearty and delightful experience, while the shuttle service to the nearby attractions made it easy to explore new places. We also loved being able to try out the fantastic hot springs.
The food options were limited for our vegan friends, and communication was challenging, which made mealtime less fun. , getting to the location of the hotel was inconvenient, as it was high on a hill, and the road was not pedestrian-friendly, so walking or biking wasn't an option.

This hotel is perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay in the hills surrounded by nature. Located on top of a hill in the middle of a park, the views over the city and temples are amazing. The rooms are spacious, clean, and traditional style with low tables. The bathroom was clean and with all amenities. The restaurant serves exquisite Japanese cuisine and the staff is extremely helpful. There's a shuttle service into town for convenience, and the walk around the area is beautiful.
The communication with staff members who lack English skills is not easy.

We spent our Xmas break at a ryokan located on top of a hill with a breathtaking view of the surroundings. We were greeted with welcome tea and snacks, and enjoyed the heated stone foot rests at the sitting area. The room was large and comfortable with full-length windows. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and high-quality, served at the dining area. We had a great experience at the public bath, which was very relaxing.
The location was quite remote, with no nearby attractions and quite a distance from any stores. we would have liked in-room dining options since there was none available during our stay.
